Southside Behavioral Health provides therapeutic mental health services via teletherapy. One does not have to be technically savvy to participate in teletherapy mental health services. No special software or apps required to engage in this type of therapy. All Oklahomans with access to internet connection, a confidential space, and a camera on their computer or cell phone have the opportunity to connect with the therapists at Southside Behavioral Health for appointments.
Teletherapy sessions are offered with the same level of professional and quality mental health treatment as if you were seen at the Southside Behavioral Health office. Rest assured, your sessions remain confidential in a safe and secure environment on the part of Southside Behavioral Health therapists who use a HIPPA compliant portal to conduct teletherapy sessions. Your confidentiality is guarded, meeting HIPPA compliant standards as all data is encrypted and never stored.

Choose a quiet, private setting.
Make sure that your computer, tablet or phone has a camera and reliable internet connection.
Test your camera and audio before your session begins and ensure that both your camera and microphone are “on.”
Make your window “full screen.”
Be “present” for your session as if you were in your therapist’s office. Turn off device notifications and minimize other distractions.
